I booked the first time with my platinum account and had requested an upgrade to a suite if available. The hotel kindly obliged but the room was outdated, sparse and extremely noisy. (On our second stay, my husband with titanium status received an upgrade to a renovated room and it was much nicer!) The lounge was nice, not plentiful options but some snacks and wine and overall a good experience.
