    We were in Kyoto during peak cherry blossom season. The hotel was busy but you never felt it. Given this, the hotel was sold out and we were not given a room upgrade for my titanium status (not a problem). We were surprised however to receive complimentary breakfast given that this is not typical for Ritz properties (we also received in tokyo Ritz as well!). The hotel was lovely, with a very zen vibe - which was much different feel compared to the Tokyo location. The location was also great located along the river with easy connection to the subway lines (only a few minutes away). All in all excellent stay and would highly recommend!
