An ok stay in a pinch

This Sheraton is located on the outskirts of Rome. ln between the airport and the city center. Not exactly a desirable location or neighborhood. I’m sure in the 80s and 90s this property was booming with tour groups and buses. It’s a massive property that desperately needs some deep renovation work. If you’re visiting Rome as a tourist, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.

The plus side is it was very cheap and always available. I stayed multiple nights over the summer and it seemed to be nowhere near capacity. Also, the pool area was a nice spot for an evening glass of wine. On site restaurant was not bad, and since you are on the outskirts, dining elsewhere could be a challenge.

Recognition of titanium status was virtually non existent, nor were the rooms particularly exciting or well appointed. In a pinch I would stay again but there are much better choices in Rome.
